Route Overview

Covering 9 counties, our bicycling routes travel: North to Clinton, Norris and Big Ridge State Park; South to the outskirts of Pigeon Forge, Townsend and Friendsville; East to Kodak, Seymour and Sevierville; and West to Kingston, Lenoir City and Melton Hill Dam.

The start locations and routes are color-coded for easy referencing. Alternate start locations are listed in the book, as well as directions for riding your bike from downtown Knoxville, TN to several of the starts.

Cue Sheet Overview

Our cue sheets offer concise, easy-to-follow directions. Stores and restrooms along the route are noted. To help you stay on course when road signage is inadequate, our cue sheets note the intersections with an "@T" or "@Y", and specify whether there is a stop sign or stop light.

Map & Profile Overview

Our maps highlight the route and all the stores and restrooms along the route and in the vicinity. For ease of reading, all roads are not listed on the maps. We have attempted to include roads that are rideable and those that need to be included for clarity. Using our maps, route lengths can be varied and the routes customized. Each bicycle route features a profile of the ride. The profile along with the elevation gain and route description, will aid you in determining the route's terrain and degree of difficulty.
